Credit Transfer is an academic process that allows a student to transfer credits already earned at one UGC- or AICTE-recognized university to another university, so they can continue their education without repeating courses they've already completed.
This system is especially valuable for students who discontinued their B.Tech or degree program midway due to backlogs, relocation, financial constraints, or institutional issues. Instead of starting over, the Credit Transfer System allows them to re-enter their academic journey at the appropriate semester and complete their degree through a recognized university.
Credit Transfer is supported by India's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) framework, which promotes student mobility, flexibility, and lifelong learning.
